Zurab Davitashvili
PH.D. (Doctor of Sciences) in International Relations (2003), PH.D. (candidate of Sciences) in Geography (1982), is full professor, head of the Department of International Relations at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
The field of his scientific interests is geopolitics, nationalism, ethnic conflicts and political problems of the Southern Caucasus. Courses he teaches are: Geopolitics of the Southern Caucasus; World Historical and Political Geography; Nationalism and International Relations; Globalization and Global Issues.
According PESTUGE project his new course is “Nationalism, Ethnic Conflicts and Peace Keeping”. The course of “Geopolitics of the Southern Caucasus” is updated.
