Prof David Aprasidze
Prof David Aprasidze is currently Head of Administration at Ilia State University. He has obtained his PhD at the University of Hamburg, Institute for Peace Study and Security Policy. Besides being a Head of Administration at ISU he is a professor teaching at the School of Arts and Sciences at Ilia State University. His previous experience includes being a Rector of Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, chairman of the Caucasus Institute for Peace, Democracy and Development, coordinator for EU co-funded projects at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. His work experience is closely related to academia, think-tank foundations, and media, on issues related to peace and security, democracy and development, system transformation, international relations and foreign policy, minority integration, and constitutional order. He has been published internationally in different languages.
